  • 【EASY TO ADJUST WEIGHT】GF Quick-lock dumbbells allow for quick weight adjustment. The weight set can be adjusted by slightly loosening the bolt. It is no longer necessary to remove the entire part. This process can be completed in less than 10 seconds. The dumbbell plate has a carrying handle design, compared to other adjustable dumbbells more quickly and easily.
  • 【FIT & SAFETY DESIGN】There is a snap design between the dumbbell plates. They automatically fit when placed and do not interfere with quick removal. There is no risk of weight plates falling off during exercise. The dumbbell plates always fit tightly and are not affected by weight. GF hand weight sets are more like real dumbbells than other adjustable dumbbells.
  • 【NO BASE REQUIRED, PLACE ANYWHERE】GF adjustable dumbbell set square for home gym can be placed in any position when the power is insufficient—no more searching for a designated base. Purchased the 80lb 2x set during November 2025 Black Friday sale. Pros: 1. Cheaper than similar weighted alternatives - other adjustable dumbbells are likely double the prince. 2. *Quick adjustments* - I put this in asterisks because it takes me around 20 seconds to change from one weight to another (E.g., adjust a single dumbbell from 80lb to 60lb). More expensive brands do quicker adjustments, but this is still substantially faster than the 1" adjustable dumbbells. Once you've done it a few times, it becomes intuitive. Further, the head of the screws is quite large, making them easy to turn for adjustments. No tools are needed. As a bonus to the screw size, the dumbbells do not cause me any discomfort when sitting on my legs before a press, unlike many standard and Olympic loadable dumbbells where the screw heads digs into your legs. 3. Feels sturdy during use - I have no experienced the plates shifting around during use. The plates lock into one another and the screws are tight when fully threaded. I have not had to adjust the screws between sets. I have no concern about plates falling on me during use. 4. No rolling around - The square shape allows me to simply place the dumbbells on the bench, floor, etc., without worrying they will roll around. 5. Drop proof - The dumbbells are metal throughout. I'm not much of a dumbbell dropper, but I am able to drop these without issue. 6. Seem identical to two other brands (Eisenlink + iFast) - GearForFit does not currently (November 2025) sell longer screws or additional plates to upgrade these dumbbells, but they appear to be identical to these listed brands, meaning you could upgrade each dumbbell to be as heavy as 160lb through third-parties. Or, simply get a set of longer screws and use a single dumbbell with both sets of plates. So, these seem pretty future proofed in terms of total weight, unlike most adjustable dumbbells where you get the weight that you get. 7. Shipping took about 48 hours from payment to drop off - I am only about an hour away from Markham, but still. I thought I was mistaken when the dumbbells seemed to arrive. 8. Size/Knurling - The dumbbells are not too bulky. Olympic loaded dumbbells are too big. These feel much better. I do not have issues with the plates coming into contact with my body, whether doing chest presses, or something like an incline curl. Some people have said the handles for the other brands are a bit big. This might be true, but I'm a male at 5'7" and find no issues doing bicep work, presses, or rows. The knurling also seems perfectly fine. It's not a volcano knurling by any means, but I notice it when I grab the dumbbells. It does its job. Things to consider: 1. Figuring out what to do with plates or the dumbbells when not in use - Everyone will find their own solution. For dumbbells it might be expensive platforms, but with the square shape I am storing the dumbbells on the inside of my squat stand. They're simply sitting next to the uprights, out of the way. They won't roll anywhere so I am not concerned. The plates are stored under them. 2. Figuring out ways to do easier plate math for adjustments - The dumbbells arrived with the 2.5lb plates on the ends. I think this is probably best. I don't have any issue thinking of changing from one weight to another (E.g., 80lb to 55lb), but if I did, I would probably use some metallic markers to add some numbers to the dumbbells, or colourize them. I recommend these dumbbells to anyone with a garage or basement gym (I am using a basement with very little room).
